‘Helsinki 1878’ is a tablet AR game prototype (iOS-ARKit, Unity) we created for the Helsinki City Museum. Commissioned by the XR-studio ZOAN, the game augments one of the venue exhibits, a room-filling city model of the (1878) Finnish capital, by allowing visitors to complete playful quests directing AR avatars through historical Helsinki streets.
Conceived, realized and showcased on location within 3 weeks, in 2018.
